CM Appliance

What is it

A VMware virtual machine with all the key configuration management tools pre-installed and configured.  The applications installed are:

• Subversion
• Maven
• Ant
• Artifactory
• Hudson
• Jira
• Bamboo
• Twiki

The above applications provide support for all the key configuration management processes including:

• Version control
• Build management
• Software release
• Defect, Issue and change management
• Automated build and continuous integration
• Collaboration and document management

This appliance is essentially a virtual Subversion server, virtual build server, virtual continuous integration server and virtual Jira server all rolled into a single virtual server.

Supported guests

Current supported Linux guest operating system is Ubuntu Linux

The appliance is a VMware virtual machine which can be used with VMware workstation 6.5 or later, VMware Fusion 2.0 or later or any of the other VMware Servers.

Bespoke appliances

If you require a bespoke appliance with a different guest  or other configuration management tools then we are happy to create one to order.

Key features

The appliances are pre-configured and ready to use.  Once the virtual machine is opened using VMware and the guest booted up then the applications will start up automatically and can be accessed from across the network.

The appliance is very easy to download and install.

Ordering
